MAXITROL EYE DROPS 5ML
Indications / Uses :
Ocular inflammation when concurrent use of an antimicrobial is necessary.
Hypersensitivity. Epithelial herpes keratitis, vaccinia, varicella & other viral diseases of the cornea & conjunctiva. Mycobacterial infection of the eye. Fungal diseases of ocular structures. After uncomplicated removal of a corneal foreign body.
Special Precautions :
Prolonged use. Routinely & frequently check IOP in patients receiving prolonged therapy. Diseases causing thinning of the cornea or sclera. May mask infection or enhance existing infection in acute purulent conditions. Herpes simplex infections. Cross-hypersensitivity. Concomitant use w/ systemic aminoglycoside or polymyxin B. Discontinue if fungal infection or superinfection occurs. May result into overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms. May cause eye irritation & discolour soft contact lenses. May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.
